DAY BY DAY
Your Jordan itinerary
Based on the published 2026 brochure. Activities and routing are subject to VIPTrips confirmation.
Day 1: Amman
Arrive in Amman and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Amman
Morning city tour: Roman Theatre, Citadel, archaeology and folklore museums, old and modern Amman, and an art gallery. In the afternoon, visit Kan Zaman village for dinner, a folklore show, and handicraft workshops.
Day 3: Amman → Dead Sea → Umm Qais
Float in the Dead Sea, then travel north to Pella in the Jordan Valley and Umm Qais. Enjoy views of the Sea of Galilee, Yarmouk River, and Golan Heights; the brochure describes viewpoints, not border crossings.
Day 4: Amman → Jerash → Ajloun
Late-morning tour of Jerash’s Roman theatres, temples, churches, and colonnaded streets. Continue to the 12th-century castle at Ajloun.
Day 5: Amman → Madaba → Mount Nebo → Kerak → Petra
Travel south along the Kings’ Highway toward Petra. Visit Madaba’s mosaic map and mosaic school, Mount Nebo, Wadi Mujib scenery, and Kerak’s Crusader castle.
Optional: Lunch stop at Kerak. Confirm availability and any additional cost.
Day 6: Petra
Full-day visit to Petra. Walk through the Siq to the Treasury, Roman Theatre, courts, Qasr Bint Pharaoun, Temple of the Winged Lions, and other monuments.
Optional: Lunch break and a possible climb to the Monastery. Confirm availability and any additional cost.
Day 7: Petra → Wadi Rum → Amman
Visit Wadi Rum with a short 4WD ride. If time permits, make a short visit to Aqaba before returning to Amman along the Desert Highway.
Optional: Lunch stop en route. Confirm availability and any additional cost.
Day 8: Amman
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
