DAY BY DAY
Your Egypt itinerary
Based on the published 2026 brochure. Activities and routing are subject to VIPTrips confirmation.
Day 1: Cairo
Arrive in Cairo and transfer to a local restaurant for dinner, then to the 5-star InterContinental Pyramids hotel for 2 nights in a double room with breakfast, as named in the brochure.
Day 2: Cairo
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day tour of the Egyptian Museum, pyramids, Sphinx, camel ride, and Papyrus Institute.
Day 3: Cairo → Aswan
Breakfast, followed by a day at leisure. In the evening, transfer to the station for the overnight sleeper train to Aswan, including dinner and breakfast.
Optional: Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali on the Moqattam Hills. Confirm availability and any additional cost.
Day 4: Aswan
Arrive in Aswan and board the 5-star MS Nile Dolphin for a 3-night, full-board Nile cruise. Visit the Aswan Dam and Unfinished Obelisk, and take a felucca sail in the Agha Khan area. Overnight aboard in Aswan.
Day 5: Aswan → Kom Ombo → Edfu
Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the temple, then continue to Edfu. Overnight aboard in Edfu.
Day 6: Edfu → Luxor
Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Sail to Esna, cross the lock, and continue to Luxor. Overnight aboard in Luxor.
Day 7: Luxor → Cairo
Disembark after breakfast. Visit the Colossi of Memnon, Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, Luxor, and Karnak Temple. Transfer to Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo, then to your hotel for 2 nights.
Day 8: Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a free day.
Optional: Day tour to Alexandria. Confirm availability and any additional cost.
Day 9: Cairo
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
